This copy neither signed nor numbered and, while including the "Introductory Note to the Fourth Edition," the title-page does not indicate fourth edition, and bears neither the Briggs imprint, nor the copyright notice at the bottom. Slightest toning to upper edge of boards. Mild toning toward edges of text. Tissue-guard at title-page is lost; others show some creasing and/or tearing to edges. Skiff of original green watercolour to verso title-page; short closed tear to top margin of p.37-8. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a really beautiful, bright, sound copy of the fourth edition.
