Collated. Full octavo. *We believe one of the stories in the book was written by William Harrison Ainsworth (Wrote Witches of Pendle & Boscobel and other period romances. Friend & contemporary of Charles Dickens) Perhaps he did others in the book but the actual contributors remain unknown? A series of tales told in the Haddon Hall surrounds & setting, some with ghosty and scary overtones. Romantic fiction.
