Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the multifaceted nature of language, examining its origins and charting its progression from simple beginnings to the complex system it is today. The author traces the development of language from the earliest vocal utterances to the formation of more sophisticated words and grammar, exploring how language evolved to meet the needs of increasingly complex human societies. The book also examines the influence of language on thought and culture, and how language both shapes and is shaped by the societies that use it. Through a combination of linguistic and historical analysis, the author provides a comprehensive exploration of language's origins and evolution, shedding light on its profound impact on human thought and interaction. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…

Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book posits that the Aryan language group is likely the forerunner of all that followed across the globe. This idea is examined by traveling back to a theoretical âoriginal Aryanâ and tracing the developments that gave us the languages spoken across Europe and Asia today, as well as the Americas. Like all good ideas, this one comes from a question: How did so many seemingly isolated languages come about, and how can they be so different, yet share so many similarities? The author masterfully examines the history of these languages, the civilizations they birthed, and concludes that each shows evidence of a gradual loss of grammatical structure over time. However, the author does not merely seek to establish a linguistic family tree. Rather, the intent is to use this as a springboard to explore the connections between language, culture, and the evolution of human consciousness. By taking this approach, the author invites us to look at the human experience from a fresh perspective.

This book provides a detailed examination of Federal land bank lending from 1950-1957, including characteristics of the outstanding land bank loans as of June 30, 1956. During this time period, land banks were responsible for approximately one-sixth of the outstanding farm mortgage debt, with their loans being most important in the Great Plains. In the 1950s, land bank loans represented 12% of the number and amount of farm mortgages recorded, increasing to 19% in 1956. The average size of the Federal land bank loan made in the 1950s was larger than that for other major lender groups, other than insurance companies. By the end of this period, land banks were refinancing more loans than they were making for new purchases. The authorâs analysis shows that land banks have typically charged lower interest rates than other lenders, and the terms of their loans are usually fairly long, with about 25% having terms of 30 years or more. Overall, this book provides a valuable resource of information on the land bank farm mortgage loan system from the 1950s through the mid-1950s. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
