Abzüge etwas geblichen, Trägerkartons im Rand leicht gebräunt bzw. stockfleckig, bei der zweiten Aufnahme auch Abzug etwas stockig, ein T…rägerkarton rückseitig mit leichteren Kratz- und Schmutzspuren. Dabei: Florenz. Cortile del Palazzo del Podesta: secolo XIV. Orig.-Photo eines ungenannten Photographen (wahrscheinlich ebenfalls Brogi). Um 1880. Albuminabzug. Auf Karton montiert. 20 x 25 cm (Abzug) bzw. 29,5 x 37,8 (Trägerkarton). Im Unterrand des Abzugs einkopierte Bezeichnung und Negativnummer. Guter Abzug. Giacomo Brogi eröffnete 1864 sein erstes Studio in Florenz. 1868 reiste und photographierte er in Palästina, Ägypten und Syrien. Er war einer der führenden Mitglieder der "Società Fotografica Italiana". Sein Sohn Carlo übernahm das väterliche Studio 1881, es ist aber in der Übergangszeit nicht immer eindeutig zu klären ob Bilder von Giacomo oder Carlo stammen. Carlo lernte das Handwerk vermutlich von seinem Vater und führte den Betrieb unter dem Namen "Edizioni Brogi" nach dessen Tod weiter. Im Todesjahr seines Vaters stellte er noch gemeinsam mit diesem bei einer Leistungsschau in Mailand aus, wo sie die Silbermedaille gewannen.
