Schirmer STATUS : Out of Print - OP PHYSICAL DETAILS : Quarterly journal; contains several sepia pictures reproduced in halftone, as well as a considerable amount of printed music; volume pages 355 - 505 + Contents page; + 18 pages of back material; 6 1/2" x 9 3/4"; printed wraps, sewn and glued. Publisher's ornamental devices placed centrally on rear cover. CONDITION -- GOOD PLUS -- This is a previously owned book which remains clean and serviceable, with the following particulars and imperfections noted : EXTERIOR : Spine has abrasion and small loss at the extremities - the spine is considerably creased along its length, with splitting evident. Front cover has modest surface rub, a touch of weathering and smudging and one small damp stain; on the bottom front edge is a small, curved tear, approximately 1 inch in length, with attendant small loss; small loss to bottom front edge, next to spine; soft bumps to corner tips; mild weathering, else clean. Rear cover has weathering, small spotting, chipping with small loss about edges. BINDING : The paper used for the cover is somewhat brittle. There is evidence of mending neatly effected to the cover attachment. The issue opens widely, and there are a few places where the text-block is cracked - however no leaves are detached, and the whole remains intact. It must be considered as fragile. INTERIOR : Paper is slightly toned, else the interior is clean and free of marking and marginalia, free of writing, and has no signatures.
