No. 583 of 1000 limited edition copies of this work in the publisher's original leatherette binding, with the original slipcase. The certificate, confirming that this is a limited edition of 1000 copies, has been signed by the director of the publishing company Scripta Africana. The foreword is signed by the chairman of the publishing company Scripta Africana. An enlightening work on the Boer War operations in South Africa between 1899 and 1901, this facsimile reproduction was taken from the reports of Captain S L'H Slocum and Captain Carl Reichmann. The original documents and lithographic plates that this work is based on were destroyed. With thirty-five illustrations, many of which are reproductions of battle plans. In the publisher's original leatherette binding, with the original slipcase. Externally in lovely condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
