Portrait frontispiece and a few small engravings in text (this is not the later version with plates). The book was the property of Lord Porchester, 4th Earl of Carnavon, of Highclere Castle. There is a nice gift inscription on the flyleaf from William H Trumantle, gifting the book to Porchester on his leaving Eton, and a bookplate "Highclere of Highclere" on the front pastedown. Also a later owner's name shown. The binding has some minor wear including a dig to the spine and a short crack to the top joint, but the binding is sound and the pages are very clean.…
