Polk as President and countersigned by James Buchanan as Secretary of State with the Presidential Seal intact; a card signed by Zachary Taylor and members of his cabinet; slipped signature of Millard Fillmore; autograph letter signed by James Buchanan; clipped signature of Franklin Pierce; clipped signatures of Abraham Lincoln, William Seward, and Andrew Johnson; clipped signature of Ulysses S.
