This is the second volume, we believe of three, in which the author tells the story of 100 years soldiering in the Badcock family. The book ha…s been compiled, edited and written by former Sergeatn S/23521198 Lawrence Brodley, RASC, around the diaries, manuscripts, photographs and memorabilia left behind by his grandfather, the late S/56 SSM Benjamin William Badcock, MC, RASC. The book has been produced, printed and bound on the personal equipment of the author, Lawrence Broidley. It is bound in laminated boards with titling and an illustration on the front board and an account of how the book came into being on the rear board. The case of the book is in very good condition with light shelf wear on the boards and bumping to the top corner of the front board. The contents are tight and clean with the following inscription by the author on the front free endpaper: "From - The Grandson of one great 'Old Contemptible' to the Son of the greatest of them all.
