Undated but 1930's and commissioned by Boots the Chemists. The wrapper has a pasted portrait to the front a…nd is complete but with a small tear and a little nibbling to the top spine edge. The spine is darker. It is in a protective wrap. The blue cloth binding is very bright and clean with gilt decoration and titles to the front board and spine. There is some pulling to the spine. Internally there is some offsetting from the advertisements on the wrapper ends to the endpapers. The frontispiece and title page have light spotting and the frontispiece has a couple of creases.
