The grey cloth binding has gilt titles to the spine and is bright and clean apart from a small ink mark at the bottom edge of the back board. The spine ends are lightly pulled - the bottom spine end more so than the top. There is a tiny bump to the bottom corner tip of the front board and a minute nick in the top corner tip. The contents, with shield illustrations by Stephen Briggs, are very clean. The inscription reads: 'To John HAVE FUN'. The dustwrapper, illustrated by Josh Kirby, is priced at £15.99 on the front flap and is in very good condition. It is complete, bright and clean. There is light wear across the top edge and some thin score marks at the top of the back panel. There is very tiny dark mark at the bottom edge of the back panel more visible on the inside of the jacket. It is in a removable protective wrap.
