A number of the songs in these later editions were gathered from song collecting i n the field, others were collected from older published sources, but the main source was the songbooks published by Böhme, as well as works by Herder, Zuccalmaglio's German Folksongs, and some from Das Knaben Wunderhorn by Brentano and Arnim, plus t he Deutschen Liederhort by Erk and Böhme. Also, the older manuscript sources like the Carmina Burana or the Lochamer Liederbuch have contributed a few items. ; green cloth with black lettering ; no dustacket ; previous owner inscription on fornt endpaper ; foxing ; chord chart at back ; silhouettes in black throughout ; VG.
