Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Hewson (1786-1869) was born in Ennismore, Co. Kerry, the youngest of seven sons of the Archdeacon of Aghadoe. He died in Rathgar, Dublin. He was captured in September, 1803, while on an intelligence-gathering operation at Brest, France. His second escape effort was successful. The remarkable story is enhanced by the editor's introduction and footnotes and the generous selection of illustrations, many reproduced in a full page format. Clean, unmarked copy.
