Añadir al carritoRare original photograph and artistic depiction of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. Official NASA color glossy photograph with an artistic depiction of the docking of theÂApolloÂspacecraft and the Soviet Soyuz capsule during theÂApollo-Soyuz Test Project. Boldly signed on the original mount above the photograph by astronauts Tom Stafford, Vance Brand, and Deke Slayton, and by cosmonauts Vladimir Shatalov and Aleksei Yeliseyev. Additionally inscribed by Stafford beneath the photograph on the lower margin of the mount, "To Chuck Graham - Our best wishes and many thanks for all of your help and hospitality. The Apollo-Soyuz Crews." In very good condition. The photograph measures 13.75 inches by 10.25 inches and the entire piece measures 20 inches by 16 inches. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP), conducted in July 1975, was the first international crewed space mission, symbolizing a significant thaw in Cold War tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union. The mission involved the docking of an American Apollo spacecraft with a Soviet Soyuz capsule in orbit, enabling astronauts and cosmonauts to transfer between the two vehicles and conduct joint scientific experiments. Beyond its technical achievements, the ASTP served as a diplomatic milestone, showcasing the potential for peaceful cooperation in space exploration. It laid the groundwork for future international partnerships, such as the International Space Station, and marked the final flight of the Apollo program.
