Book has a slight forward lean. Clipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing.

Red decorated cloth boards with gilt lettering and illustrations on upper board and spine.Top edges gilt. Condition: light wear to extremities including small tears at top of spine, some darkening on spine and half of fep cut out.

Also there are a few closed tears to the jacket and minor loss, including a small whole to the rear of the spine about a quarter of the way up and at the spine ends.
