Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Kinderwunschvereinbarungen anlässlich einer künstlichen Befruchtung mit Spendersamen und nimmt abstammungsrechtliche Folgefragen in den Fokus, die die rechtliche Elternstelle neben der Kindesmutter betreffen. Sie beleuchtet, wie die Einbindung eines Notars bei der Abgabe entsprechender Erklärungen de lege lata zu hoher Rechtssicherheit beitragen kann, und zeigt Grenzen der notariellen Mitwirkung auf. Im Schwerpunkt ausgehend von dem Diskussionsteilentwurf, den das BMJV 2019 für die Reform des Abstammungsrechts vorgelegt hat, werden einzelne Reformvorhaben eingehend untersucht und bewertet.
