The biography o Wallis Warfield Simpson, the woman who married the British King Edward VIII and story of the Abdication. From the jacket flap, "Like all good biographies, this one begin with Wallis Warfield's early life - her Baltimore girlhood and the marriages to Messrs, Spencer and Simpson. But the major part of the book, and naturally the most fascinating, is the whole story of the Abdication crisis which catapulted her to fame, or infamy, depending on the point of view, Mr. Bocca has revealed hitherto unknown factors, intrigues, political maneuvers and personal pressures which have long clouded this event.
