In fair green cloth boards, with blind stamped titles to front and gilt titles to spine. The boards are a little loose from some damage to joints, the cloth is discoloured mostly around the spine and edges; the spine ends are corners are bumped and frayed. The front free end paper of the coloured, illustrated end papers is lightly foxed. The text block is illustrated in black and white by the author and 'with help from Miss Nancy Blackett'. The pages are securely attached and even and the cut edges and the Prelims are slightly tanned and foxed and a few of the pages have small marks. Good minus condition. In poor pictorial dust jacket which has torn edges with pieces missing from spine and is tanned and foxed. Clipped, but below the price. In protective, removable sleeve.
