The introduction is by a distinguished Hungarian art critic Istvan Hajdu. Ilka Gedo still did not receive the recognition she deserves during her lifetime, and thus, this publication is an important step towards recognition of this great 20th-century artist, known until now mostly for her work series called `Budapest ghetto`, `the Ganz Factory` and `Table Series`.
