This is an unusual Maigret novel set in Tucson, Arizona. While Maigret is on a study trip, he witnesses a coroner's inquest.There were no large paper editions of this novel. This is the first edition, written in the original French. In the publisher's original paper wraps, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart, with minor shelf wear to the joints and head and tail of the spine. Mark to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Marginal age toning to pages which are otherwise bright and clean. Dust wrapper remains bright with edgewear. Due to large tears to the fold of the fly leaves, dust wrapper may come apart into three sections with further handling. Chipping to the head and tail of the spine, resulting in small losses, and a small vertical tear to the spine. Very Good. book.
