Berlin's Museum fur Volkerkunde, a repository of one of the world's most comprehensive collections of the art of this vast region, exhibited in Maastricht in 1992 many of its masterpieces from Central Africa. In this catalogue of that exhibition there are more than 200 pages of rich color photographs, 10 papers, and lengthy descriptions and collection data for each illustrated object.
