Book has a tast…eful previous owner stamp on FFE, light wear to lower spine, one lightly bent corner and some light edge wear. Illustrated cover, in red (by Miller?) and printed in black under illustration: Bern Porter 1947. DJ (with an illustration of Miller by Ferdinand Leger) has a large closed tear across upper front panel and large closed teer on rear panel, a long chip along bottom front edge, chipping on upper spine and some corners and some light soiling and fading on spine. 31 essays (on various colored papers) in appreciation from various literary writers and artists from a variety of fields. Includes chronology and bibliography. Nice copy ( with a dust jacket that has some problems).
