Cap. 93. every Person who intends to use or shall use any Dog, Gun, Net or other Engine for the Purpose of taking or killing any Game whatever, or any Woodcock, Snipe, Quail, or Landrail, or any Conies, or shall take or kill, or shall assist in the taking or killing, any Game, or any Woodcock, Snipe, Quail, or Landrail, or any Conies, must, before he shall so take or kill, or assist in the taking or killing the same, (subject to the Provisions in an Act passed in the 54th Year of the Reign of His present Majesty, Cap. 141) annually pay the Duties imposed by the said Acts to one of the Collectors of the Assessed Taxes for the Parish in which he resides, who will give a printed Receipt for the same, which Receipt is to be exchanged for a Certificate to be signed by the Clerk to the Commissioners for the District.'
