Hardcover (Original Cloth). Condición: Very Good. First Edition. This is the formal record of a proper theological debate between Moomaw and Jackson on the subject of trine baptism. Trine immersion requires immersing a person three times, once for each member of the Trinity. The correspondence was not a schism, but rather a theological debate. Both men were in the Virginia Anabaptist tradition and the title page says "resulting in the conviction of the latter, and change of his religious affiliation". No details of this are known. Cloth boards with somewhat ragged back strip. Scattered foxing, several sections printed on paper that is browning. Size: 16mo 6" - 7" tall. 282 pages. Full refund if not satisfied.
