This appears to have been commissioned by YATA, undated, c1985, when the YAR Government was seeking to promote tourism through Yemenia and YATA. The front features a colour map with titles, key, and instructions in English and German, hole-punched in several places to reveal distances on the sliding card insert. In addition to locations within YAR, a box gives distances to Mecca, Medina, Amman, Al-Mukalla, Riyadh, Kuwait, Doha and Dubai. Features include asphalt roads, loose surface roads, motorable tracks, starting points, "European standard" hotels, "Simple" hotels, funduqs, ancient sites, customs houses, and airport. Another box gives contact details for embassies, tourist offices, hotels and banks. Extremely rare, with Worldcat and online searches recording only European and North American maps. It is known that Benco-Verlag produced an equivalent map of Saudi Arabia for an agency based in Cairo.

In addition to Saudi settlements, there are inset boxes for Cairo, Amman, Baghdad, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, and Sana'a. Features include roads (distinguishing primary, main, and secondary), historical places and airports. The back has illustrated general information about Saudi in Arabic only, covering its flag, emblem, currency, climate etc. Undated, but possibly c1985-90 around when Benco Verlag produced a similar one of Yemen for the Yemen Arab Tourism Agency.
