The volume retains its 14-page dedicatory epistle by Cornelius Laurimanus to George of Austria, Prince-Bishop of Liège; Laurimanus's Ad pium lectorem; and the one-page "Vita Ioannis Beleth ex Ioanne Trithemio." The text of the Explicatio begins at p. 3: pp. 1-2 are lacking. Present thereafter through p. 361, followed by Index Capitum and Ad Lectorem. Final leaf with printed approbation signed by Johannes Goëssuini of Oirschot, pastor of St James's, Antwerp. Very tightly bound. Although the title page is lacking, the edition is identifiable from the surviving dedication and preliminaries as the Dillingen, Sebald Mayer edition of 1562. Wells Theological College bookplate on front pastedown. Facing ownership inscription, "E. H. Plumptre, Belsito August 13 1870," above a pasted nineteenth-century bibliographical note.
