Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Poor. **Bundle Up & Save On Postage** 4.75 X 7.75" 272 pages A very nice hard cover copy in dust jacket. Price-clipped Dust Jacket has much wear: front panel is detached at the spine edge, top and left side of front panel is missing, back panel shows a photo of Trader Vic and is very clean. Previous owner's name & date, March 30/55, front end page. Pages 127 to 134 (including 2 page mat finish art work by G. Huze) are loose and at one time had been taped onto p.135, a glue stain remains. Otherwise pages are very clean and well bound without flaw. Two mat finish double page watercolor illustrations by Guy Huze. 'Gay recipes for good eating, good drinking, good parties' Vic knew more about rum and what can be done with it than most. There is also a chapter on The Butterflies, Whips and Jingles, or what is commonly known as the Hangover (this is the section that has come loose) Vic also gives menus and recipes for succulent South Sea dishes and decorating ideas. More than a cookbook "Trader Vic gives you a gay blueprint for good living, salted with wit and inimitable comment". And he has a great sense of humor. Watercolor illustrations by Guy Huze and line-drawings by William F.M. Kay (ilustrador).…

Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. with photographs by Jerome Zerbe and an introduction by Lucius Beebe Federal Printing Service, N.Y.C. Divine! Those first years of El Morocco were stupendous. There wasn t a celebrity or a socialite who didn t clamor to get in. Evening dress was mandatory, and so large were the crowds that there was often a waiting line a block long to get in. --Jerome Zerbe.…
