Hardback. Condición: Very good copy. Hardback. Illustrated by H. M. Brock. Black and white frontis and five further plates. Harry Brock remains one of the most popular illustrators. Pictorial cloth binding showing a rugby match. Richard Bird was the pseudonym of William Barradale-Smith, 1881-1965, (Oxford Companion to children's… Literature). Bird was a best known for his sporting stories. Prize book plates dated 1927. Olive cloth is very slightly dust and finger marked. Text is clean. Binding is sound. Very good copy. H. M. Brock (ilustrador).
