Añadir al carritoUnbound CDVs. Condición: Good. First edition. Three photographs of three different vehicles, all photographed against a backdrop and with a Brewster & Baldwin sign and the 786 Broadway address. One shows a gent leaning against what looks like a painted pillar. A strip of the pillar is visible in another CDV. Irregularly trimmed;… some staining. In 1860 James Benjamin Brewster and Theodore E. Baldwin formed Brewster & Baldwin Carriages. In 1870 the firm became J.B. Brewster, of the same family but a competitor of Brewster & Co. (America's premier carriage-making firm for decades to come). Brewster & Co. is the Brewster of "You're a Brewster body" in Cole Porter's "You're the Top." Very scarce. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate. Sold as a group.
