Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. All color (except for insides of the wraps, for some reason) Golden Age 1942 comic book from the estate of comics illustrator Ken Landau of Henderson, Nevada, call it "good-plus to very-good-minus": spine rolled a bit, closed inch-and-a-half (4 cm.) horizontal tear at open edge of the front wrap (that tear carrying through to the first two leaves of text), small half-inch (18 mm.) chip to front wrap at bottom left. "Also in this issue: Joe Palooka, The Face, Sparky Watts, Rocky Ryan, Dixie Dugan, The Cloak, Captain Devildog and many other favorites!" (to include Alfred Adriola's "Charlie Chan" and yet another caped crusader, Paul Dean's "Skyman.") Original cover price 10 cents. As this is a wartime comic, most protagonists battle either buck-toothed warriors of Japan, or Nazi thugs wearing monocles. Unpaginated but 54 pp., reduced from $425.
