A bit of chipping at head and foot of spine. Corners slightly bumped. Covers overall though remain in good, clean condition. Binding feels a bit shaken, but all pages are present and attached. Previous owner's inscription on title pages. Pages are clean, with bright, color illustrations throughout of scenes of traditional Chinese life. Hahn lived in China from 1935 to 1941, and published extensively on her travels in Asia and Africa. A scarce publication of Hahn's that remains in good condition.
