Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. Jacket by Patricia Saville Voehl, Back jacket drawing by Leslie Emery Ilustrador. A bestselling historical courtroom novel by Leon Uris, QB VII examines the lingering consequences of the Holocaust through a dramatic British libel trial. The story follows a celebrated physician accused of wartime atrocities and the writer who publicly exposes his past, culminating in proceedings before the Queen's Bench Court (QB VII) in London. Combining legal drama, historical fiction, and moral inquiry, the novel became one of Uris' most successful works and was later adapted into an acclaimed television miniseries. Condition: Good+ book in Very Good dust jacket. Blue cloth binding remains sound and square. Text block is complete through page 504 and remains clean and readable. A provenance stamp reading 'From the Personal Library of Rod and Jo-Ann Bennett' appears on the front free endpaper. Careful examination reveals that the book lacks the title/copyright leaf, with the half-title page followed directly by the dedication page. Evidence of removal is faint but present. Aside from the missing leaf, the text appears complete. The original dust jacket retains the publisher's $7.95 price and is protected in an archival sleeve. Protective sleeve may be removal but not attempted so as not to damage the jacket. Published by Doubleday in 1970. Because the title/copyright leaf is absent, definitive first-printing verification is not possible. The original priced dust jacket indicates an early trade issue rather than a Book Club Edition. Cataloged conservatively as an early Doubleday trade edition with missing title/copyright leaf. Leon Uris (1924-2003) was one of the most influential historical novelists of the postwar era. A former U.S. Marine, he achieved international fame with Battle Cry, Exodus, Mila 18, Armageddon, and Topaz. His sweeping narratives brought modern military, political, and Jewish history to millions of readers worldwide and remain widely collected.
