Edited by John Eyre, an English evangelical clergyman who helped in establishing some of the major national evangelical institutions for the Parker Society, a text publication society set up in 1841 to produce editions of the works of the early Protestant writers of the English Reformation. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, worn with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Damp staining and the odd small mark to the boards. Loss to the spine label with splits across the spine and to the joints. Amateur repairs to the spine, cloth could detach with further handling. Hinges tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities. Fair. None (ilustrador). book.
