Classic WWII juvenile aviation adventure from the Yankee Flier series, with Knight's spot art and a fast-paced rescue plot aimed at early teen readers. Condition: Very Good/Near Fine overall?binding square and tight; pages evenly yellowed as typical for wartime stock but clean and unmarked; boards clean with only minor shelf rub.

Pictorial endpapers of an aerial battle. Interior absolutely spotless, very clean and tight. Pages browning, which is normal for the high-acid paper used during wartime shortages. 210 pgs. The later books in the series are difficult to find, and this one is no exception.
