Hardcover. Condición: Good. See photos for condition details: hardcovers, two volume matched set with both copies still having the original owner's 1863 Christmas gift inscription present. The exterior of both books are similar with spotting and scuffing along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The internal binding of both copies are also similar with no cracks at boards but there are a few random areas of pulling in random spots where the binder string can be seen. Volume 2 is in slightly worse condition compared to volume 1, only because there are a few more corner bumps and pulling in spots. No other handwriting found other than the original owner's inscription, both volumes contain foxing and spotting with pages showing various degrees of toning. Volume 1 contains 328 pages, volume 2 contains 363 (691 pages total).
