The systematic list, the first comprehensive one since 1907, is designed to answer the innumerable questions on arrival and departure times of migrants, on recorded visits by rarities, or changes in numbers and distribution. Jacket has a little patchy edge/shelf wear, browning to reverse (white side), a few minor marks and a little staining to reverse (white side) where colour from boards has run a little. Black boards are very good with just a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and a feint rub to front. The binding is tight. Page edges little tanned. Top of pages little dusty.
