In it the author thanks the recipient for an abstract from J.C. Young Memoir of Charles Mayne Young. Dated March 28th (with 1979 added in pencil). There is a bookplate of Paul Morgan pasted to the front paste-down and a tipped in newspaper extract. Some spotting to the upper fore-edge and a little to the endpapers. The jacket has been price-clipped (but only to one price at the head of the front flap); it has an open short tear to the head of the spine and a closed one to the head of the front panel and it has some rubbing.
