This vintage copy of The Salt of the Earth (A History of Norwegian-Dutch Methodism in America) was written by Arlow W. Andersen. The book was published Norwegian-Danish Methodist Historical Society through The Parthenon Press in 1963 and does appear to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. (It may well be the only printing.) There is no price on the dust jacket flap. It is 6 1/4" by 8 3/4" and has 338 pages with a Table of Contents -a Tribute to John J. Wang - and an Index. It is NOT an ex-library book and both the book and the dust jacket are in very good + condition . . . though the dust jacket DOES have a small piece missing at the top of the spine. "The book is more tha a chapter in church history - important as that is. It is a contribution to American immigrant social, cultural and religious history." Thank you!
