Volume 15 started at page 1 in January, whereas Vols 16 and 17 started at Page 1 in December.

No publication date given, but was a school prize in 1907 (''for Diligence in her Classes''). So a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover Victorian novel for children. The story involves a woman who moves to a country village to help look after some young children. The usual mildly moralistic stuff. 176pp, 4 full-page b&w illustrations. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
