In remarkable and collectible condition for its age, Book is straight, square, securely bound and free of markings, blemishes and gutter creasing, with some age fading to the top gilt edge and age tanning to the deckled fore and bottom edges; ribbon marker is present but torn at 1/4" from the top. Cover of 3/4 cream cloth over paper-covered boards with printed title-label pasted to the spine, is clean, with some age toning and fading (particularly noticeable along the spine and title-label), substantially sharp corners and joints, straight headcap, tail, spine, hinges and edges, and still-legible lettering on the title label.
