Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Good. (The Castle on the Mall - 1981 Tamsin Press Paperback) This is a children's book sold at the Smithsonian. It is a storybook about the museums, zoo and other attractions in and around Washington D.C., such as the Smithsonian. It is 35-40 pages filled primarily with illustrations that are not colored in and could be used as a coloring book with some educational value as well. Given the limited text of a sentence about the image drawn on each page or set of pages (see example), I would imagine it is designed for preschool through early elementary school children. The cover shows only moderate wear and has a few tiny smudges. There is a price sticker on the rear. The interior is in excellent shape. Overall, this is still a wonderful copy of the title, perfect for use. Alice R. Tangerini (ilustrador).…

The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some beginning generalized toning to the text pages. The dust jacket is crisp and clean. "Kate Neuman, a brilliant hematologist, is in post-Ceausescu Romania to lend her expertise in the treatment of rare blood diseases. Her most baffling case is that of an abandoned seven-month-old boy who requires biweekly transfusions to survive." "Dan Simmons (born April 4, 1948) is an American science fiction and horror writer. He is the author of the Hyperion Cantos and the Ilium/Olympos cycles. His work spans the science fiction, horror and fantasy genres, sometimes within a single novel: a typical example of Simmons' intermingling of genres is Song of Kali (1985) , winner of World Fantasy Award. He also writes mysteries and thrillers, some of which feature the continuing character Joe Kurtz." (from Wikipedia). Illustrated by Ann Spinelli (ilustrador).…
