No Binding. Condición: Collectible-Very Good. Original black and white photo postcard. Postmarked August 11, 1952 in Taylors Falls, Minnesota. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2." Title is printed at the bottom of the image. "Angeleno Photo Service - 1030 So. Alvarado, L. A. 6, Calif.-2" is printed on the back. The style of "Kodak Paper" stamp box…was used from 1950 onwards. Postcard is used. The stamp was removed. Postcard is very clean and intact except for surface wear on the image and a couple spots of discoloration at the top and lower-left corner of the image. A Very Good copy. This postcard shows a boat heading out for a tour through the Dalles of the St. Croix River in the city of Taylors Falls, Minnesota. St. Croix runs through the Dalles, a gorge featuring unique rock formations. The Dalles were formed from basaltic lava flows. There is handwriting in blue pen on the back. Lillian writes to Louise J. Smith in Los Angeles, California. Lillian writes about how it was a beautiful day and gives Louise updates about her trip.
