Marvel Team-Up #17 from January 1974 featuring Spider-Man and Mister Fantastic pitted against the villain Mole Man in a story entitled "Chaos at the Earth's Core!" Also included is the Marvel Super Heroes Fantastic Four Mr. Fantastic action figure on-card with 5-Way Stretch and Flare Gun manufactured by Toy Biz in 1992. The comic book is near fine with bright, glossy covers. No markings by a previous owner or retailer. The staples lay flat and in-line with the spine. Minor stress creases along the spine. Typical tanning of the page edges and shelf wear to the surface of the white sections of the back cover. The cover art is bright and unaffected by the sun. The corners of the front cover are sharp. There is an unobtrusive, crescent-shaped crease in the black border along the top edge of the front cover. The bottom corner of the back cover has softened, and there is an abrasion to the bottom edge of the back panel at its mid-point which affects the corresponding edges of the text to a lesser degree. Two tiny hairline tears along the top edge of the back cover, and a one-inch length of the top edge was slightly over-length and has softened with associated and very soft creases. Turning to the action figure, the artwork on the card is bright and glossy. The card is flat and the bubble is firmly attached. The bottom right hand corner has softened. There are no price stickers.
