Forewords in both English and German languages. No date; circa. 1950s-60s. Bound in bright salmon half-cloth boards over maroon-colored leather spine and corners, with gilt lettering and embellishments at spine. Boards good with age wear and edge wear, including scuffs and bumps to cloth and leather. Corners bumped and worn. Volume II has small stains to cloth, with more moderate edge wear to leather over spine and corners. Volume II front and rear covers cracking to mull at joints and starting to detach; else intact. Bindings else sound. Faded blue top-stains. White silk ribbon placemarkers are all in various tattered conditions. Lovely marbled endpapers. Symphonies are independently paginated. Pages toned throughout with very sparse instances of foxing. Interiors else clean and free of markings. Oversize/Overweight; this multi-volume book set will require additional postage.
