The book is nicely illustrated; there are 27 illustrations in the list.A scarce piece of both U.S. and New York history about someone who made it. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There is brown paper dust jacket (although not necessarily the published version) which has the number 47 written on it in pencil. The hard covers are clean and bright and so too the gilt titles on the cover; those on the spine are a bit faded. The boards are just faintly bumped. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages are clean and bright thoughout without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
