This issue includes a laid-in supplement of photographs of the arrival in Madrid of the aviation pioneer and actress Ruth Elder and her pilot George Haldeman; Elder (1902-1977) was the first woman to attempt transatlantic flight. Also in the issue are many photographs of the royal family (Alfonso XIII, his wife Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg, and their children), the ocean liner Principessa Mafalda, an architectural photo-essay on El Dia de los Difuntos (All Souls Day) in Madrid, Mexican festivals, military and political figures, and much more.
