Bob Adelman (1930-2016) is best known for is role as photographer for the Congress of Racial Equality - aka CORE - during the 1960s which permitted access to leaders of the civil rights movement and led to memorable portrait photos of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr., James Baldwin, among others.
