No Binding. Condición: Good. This poster, printed in 1984, is based on a drawing by Mauzan that was used as the basis for an exhibition poster. It advertises an event at the Musée de la Publicité, a museum of advertising history located in the Louvre's Rohan and Marsan wings. Unlined and in excellent condition, this poster is sure to please any Mauzan fan!/ Renowned Italian poster artist Luciano Achille Mauzan (1881 1952) transformed viewers into buyers with bold, humorous advertisements. An illustrator who was also versed in a variety of art forms, Mauzan created over 2,000 product, event, and war posters during the Golden Era of Posters. His posters are considered highly collectible, increasingly difficult to find, and spectacular./ Born on the French Riviera, he moved to Italy in 1905. He was known as a decorative illustrator designing during the Art Deco movement, though he also painted and sculpted. After a period of study at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, France, Mauzan divided his life between Milan, Paris and Buenos Aires. Between 1920 and 1940, the period between the wars, he used forms and materials under the influence of the avant-garde cubists. He was also an illustrator of posters and postcards. During his career as a poster printer and designer, Mauzan designed over 2,000 posters./ In excellent condition and ready to frame. This poster measures 24 x 34 inches.…

No Binding. Condición: Good. Date: 1914 (original, larger sized poster printed in 1914) Size: 10.25 x 14 inches, Image: 7.25 x 10 inches Artist: Achille Mauzan About the artist: Born in France, Achille Lucien Mauzan moved to Italy in 1905 and left an incredible mark on European graphic design. From 1912 to 1917, Mauzan worked extensively with the Ricordi music and printing house, creating highly expressive and dynamic works. About this piece: This beautiful poster belongs to the Portfolio "Gli Avvisi delle Officine G. Ricordi e C. Milano" (The Advertisements of the G. Ricordi & Co. Graphics Works, Milan) a famous and rare collection published around 1914, inspired by the famous French publication Les Maîtres de l'Affiche. The complete collection contains 70 color lithographic plates (chromolithographs) in a reduced size format. It represents an extraordinary testament to the golden age of the Italian advertising poster and Art Nouveau (Liberty style) graphics, closely tied to the world of opera and the Ricordi music publishing house. During the 1910s, Turin was the undisputed capital of the Italian film industry. Savoia Film was established there in April 1911 and rapidly climbed to prominence as one of the country's main cinematic heavyweights right before World War I. Instead of advertising a singular movie title, this specific poster was commissioned as a corporate brand advertisement to celebrate the production house itself. It features an elegant, romantic couple—highly representative of the dramatic, opulent tone of the silent films produced by the studio during its heyday. This poster is in good condition (please see photos). Ready to frame.…

Firma a matita in alto a destra. …
