The collaborative process consisted of texts and images sent back and forth in dialogue with one another, each element continuing on from the last. This created a freely evolving narrative that turned into a surrealist story that Accame describes as ".a short story in images and words that tells of how a dark force calls to a man and sweeps him away to the unknown places of his soul". The original Spanish text was translated into Eng- lish, and both languages appear on each page. The drawings were made on lithographic stones and printed in careful register over archival pigment prints on Kitakata papers.
