Signed and inscribed by the author on the blank front end paper: 'To Grace Fox, with the warm regards of A Schmuller.' The red covers are clean. There is a fairly small tear off the top edge at the juncture between the front cover and spine. There are two similar tears off the bottom edge of the spine. There's a little loss at both spine ends. There are also the losses you can see on the spine. The flaps are in very solid shape, also pink. They are clean.
